Centre for Handicapped became an approved charitable organization under the section 1 (a) (ii) of the Fifth Schedule of the Inland Revenue Act No. 24 of 2017.

Established “Ath Wela” Showroom to lend a helping hand to the differently abled by selling their products.

Established “CFH Mobility Solution” Showroom to provide mobility aids to the needy recipients at low prices.

Became an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company.

Established new production unit to manufacture cost effective Prosthetic feet for its own use and for sale.

Established a fully equipped Physiotherapy unit

Became an independent charitable organization and was registered as a guarantee limited company

Adopted the ICRC developed Polypropylene manufacturing system

Officially registered as the Centre for Handicapped, Kundasale

Upgraded its manufacturing method from the Traditional Aluminum System to the High Density Poly Ethelene (HDPE) system

Opened by the Prime Minister Hon. D. B Wijetunga, and started to operating independently offed the Colombo Friend-In-Need Society

State land was provided by the then Prime Minister, Hon. R. Premadasa and building was begun

Became a Kandy branch of the Colombo Friend In Need Society

Established as Kandy Orthopedic Workshop

CFH Sri Lanka is a facility which provides prosthetic and orthotic devices and rehabilitation services to physically challenged people from all over the island enabling them to live full and productive lives. Our services are free of charge and we extend a helping hand to everyone who comes to the Centre irrespective of race, religion, ethnicity, caste and class,or gender.
